Beading is my labor of love. I pick designs that are challenging and fun to make. Design by Sandi isn't really a business. It's more about doing something I like and friends.
Is Design by Sandi good value? Yes! When I started beading I decided I would only make pieces I would be proud to wear. That left out cheap materials and tacky designs. I love Swarovski and pick patterns that highlight the beauty of these more expensive crystals. Bead weaving takes time and craftsmanship and those are in every piece you see.
You can't do this in the real world. Things have to be left out to meet price points. You don't have to accept that. You can have quality hand crafted jewelry with nothing left out. I take pride in what I make. You can take pride in what you wear and give!

Do you sell
matching pieces of jewelry? Of course! I usually
make matching sets of necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. On this site
I have necklaces, earrings, and bracelets mostly displayed by design
rather than as a set. Once
you find the perfect necklace, browse the earrings and
bracelets.
You should quickly find matching items. If not, send me an email and
I'll find it (it may not be on the web yet) or give you some choices.
Do you sell
patterns? No. Many of my pattern designs are
created by other bead artists.

Are the photos actual size? No. Photos are large to show see detail and craftsmanship. Some are actually larger than the jewelry. Please read the specified sizes of the pieces.
How do I buy
what I want? When you find the piece you want, just click
the "Add to Cart" button. When you finish shopping you will be taken to
a secure site to check out and pay for your purchases. (Credit Cards
and PayPal accepted). Most products in stock will be mailed within
three business day, usually less.
The "Add to
Cart" button isn't there. The item got sold. When the
site is routinely updated, it will be removed and new products put
on. That's a good reason to book mark this site and come back
to see my new pieces. All items shown are subject to prior sale. That
is an excellent reason to buy something you like when you see it. It
may not be there when you come back. Please contact me if you have any

What is Quick
Custom Order? A lot of designs are available for Quick
Custom order. These are popular designs in popular colors. Materials
are on hand to make them without delay. If the available color and size
are what you want, just click the "Add to Cart" button. The order will
be confirmed by e-mail, made and shipped within 15 business days, often
less. Shipping usually takes an additional 3-5 business days by USPS
First Class mail.
Quick Custom Order is the most cost effective way to buy a
design that isn't in stock. Each piece is individually woven. Time and
money saved by ordering in quantity are passed on to you. Be
sure to read Quick Custom Order policies.
What is a Custom
Order? Many designs are available for Custom Order.
You can
order precisely what you want, limited only be material availability!
Pick your designs, colors, sizes, clasps and ear wires. Sandi will hand
craft it for you. That's custom!
It takes longer and costs a bit more (I have to get materials
and
they cost more in small quantities), but this is the best way
to
go if you have exacting needs.
Please be sure to read the deposit and return policy for custom orders
carefully. I do have a return policy but there is a 50% non-refundable
deposit on all Custom Orders.
How can a Custom
Order help me if I am not going to a wedding? Almost any
way you want! Let's say you need an inexpensive gift for a teacher or
two. A pair of ear rings is very affordable. The crystal is
Swarovski, ear wires Sterling Silver or gold filled. Order
them in school
colors. You have a perfect gift: something that can't be found in any
store, affordable, and they will love it! Custom Order gives
you
flexibility you never had before, limited only by your imagination!
How can I feel
more comfortable before placing a Custom Order? There is
an element of risk in dealing with someone you don't know about
something you can't see and handle. Especially when it's important. The
best way I know is to encourage you to get get to know me and become
familiar with my work. Find something you like. It doesn't have to be
expensive. Maybe a pair of earrings or a necklace. When
you see the materials and workmanship in your
hand, you will feel much more comfortable placing a Custom Order.
How do you ship?
U.S. Postal Service, first class with delivery confirmation. Your order
will be in the mail within 3 business days, usually less. Delivery
usually takes an additional 3-5 business days from Sandi's Central
Florida location to you. Shipping
is free on all orders over $25! Orders
are not accepted or shipped to
locations outside of the United States. No P O
Boxes please.
Taxes?
Florida orders require 6.5% sales tax.
